Video Activities Primary 5

This year in Primary 5 we are doing a video activity every week. The video Activities consist in playing a video in class to create a reaction and then we do a small questionnaire and the students and I discuss the videos and what they thought of them.

This way we practice vocabulary and grammar structures in a different way.

Aquest any a Prmary 5 fem una “video activity” cada setmana. Les “Video Activities” consisteixen en veure un vídeo a classe per provocar una reacció i després contestar preguntes sobre el vídeo que hem vist. Discutim el vídeo i si ens ha agradat o no. D’aquesta manera practiquem vocabulari i estructures gramaticals d’una manera diferent.

What's Upp?

What's upp torna a Idiomes Castellar! L'últim dijous de cada mes oferim una conversation class gratuïta oberta a tothom, des de les 20:45 i fins les 21:45 al Bar Califòrnia amb un dels professors d'Idiomes Castellar.
Converses en anglès sobre diferents tòpics, actuals i del dia a dia.

What's upp is back to Idiomes Castellar! The last Thursday of every month we offer a free conversation class open to everyone, from 20:45 to 21:45 come to Bar California with one of Idiomes Castellar's teachers.
Conversations in English about different topics, current afairs and day to day events.

Aquest dissabte dia 9 tornem a oferir un conte en anglès a la Ludoteca de Castellar del Vallès a les 11:30. Us convidem a venir amb els més petits i passar vos-ho bé una bona estona! Aquest més explicarem, The Very Busy Spider!

This Saturday the 9th we offer, once again, a story read by one of our teachers in the Ludoteca in Castellar del Vallès at 11:30. We invite you to come with the little ones and have a good time with us! This month we are going to tell the story, The Very Busy Spider!

Com demanar permís an anglès:

Can I ...., please?
Could I ...., please?

Si necessitem ser més formals:

Would it be ok if I  .......?
Would it be alright if I .....?

Examples:

Can I borrow your pen, please?
Could I go to the toilet, please?
Would it be ok if I use the phone?
Would it be alright if I take a day off?

More numbers

It's important for kids to learn by touching. That's the reason why we made numbers with plasticine.
És important pels nens i nenes aprendre tocant. Per això vam fer aquests números de plastilina.

On Fridays the Primary 1 students are working with numbers. In order to practise numbers we watched this video and sang along. Why don't you parents sing with them? Ask you child to teach you the song.

Els divendres amb els alumnes de Primary 1 estem treballant el números. Per a practicar hem vist aquest video i hem cantat la cançó. Perquè vosaltres pares no canteu amb ells? Demaneu-li al vostre fill o fill que us ensenyi la cançó!
