Primary 5 Saint George

Yesterday, April 23rd, international book day, or Saint George, Sant Jordi, our Primary 5 students did a poem as a class activity. Here they are:

Hello,
the sun is yellow,
but eating rice,
is very nice.
My food,
is hard like wood.

Filling the gaps març 2014

Cada dimecres Idiomes Castellar ofereix una secció anomenada “Filling the gaps” al Magazin Dotze de Ràdio Castellar

Aquest mes de març hem fet 3 programes:

Hem parlat de 10 proverbis en anglès: “laughter is the best medicine”, “it’s no crime to steal from a thief”, “it’s not the end of the world”, “if you live like that, you’re bound to come to a bad end”, “if you talk too much you’re likely to give yourself away”, “if you think the worst, you won’t be far wrong”, “if you want to watch, you’d better keep quiet”, “hunger never saw bad bread”, “he who pays the pipper call the tune”, i llavors hem escoltat la cançó: Tell him de la Celine Dion i la Barbara Streisand.

Hem parlat d’abreviacions en anglès que tenen un orígen llatí, com per exemple, e.g. exempli gratia, que vol dir per exemple. I llavors hem escoltat vam escoltar la cançó Don’t leave me this way de The Communards.

Endangered Animals

Aquesta setmana els alumnes de Primary 4 han fet un "project" sobre animals en perill d'extinció. Aquí teniu les fotografies dels petits "projects" al suro de la nostra classe.
